The word ‘boudoir’ is French and is pronounced "bood-waar." A boudoir was a discrete area a woman could have to herself, whether it was a bedroom, some other room, or a partitioned space of a room.

Boudoir photography is an artistic and sensual, yet playful, look for a woman. This can be achieved with lingerie and possibly even implied or actual nudity. The goal is to create classy, dignified, and powerful images that thoughtfully and purposefully reflect the sensual nature and beauty of a woman’s body, clothing, and soul.
