Q: WILL MY IMAGES BE SHOWN ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR ON YOUR WEBSITE?

​Rest assured, your images will never be shared online without your approval. Before the photo session, you will review and sign a model release form that specifies what types of images if any Platinum Boudoir can share. There’s absolutely no pressure to share your personal images anywhere. Your comfort and privacy are our top priorities.

Q: WILL MY IMAGES BE EDITED / RETOUCHED?

Before your photo session, you will stipulate if editing/retouching will be done and particular areas you would like to focus on. 

Q: HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY SHOOT?

​Once your contract is signed and your session is secured, we’ll send you a comprehensive set of emails filled with essential information on how to prepare, what to bring, and tips on how to pose! This ensures you have everything you need to make your shoot truly spectacular!

Q: I'M NERVOUS AND UNSURE HOW TO POSE. AM I GOING TO LOOK GOOD IN MY PHOTOS?

​Welcome to our boudoir photography experience! We completely understand that it's normal to feel a little anxious about how the photos will turn out, but rest assured, we are experts in capturing your best angles and perfect lighting. For those new to boudoir shoots, we suggest opting for a package with at least 90 minutes of shooting time to help you feel relaxed and confident. Our goal is to make your experience fun and uplifting, so you can focus on enjoying the moment! During the photo shoot, you will receive coaching and visual examples of poses.

Q: HOW DO I CHOOSE OUTFITS FOR MY PHOTOSHOOT?

​Get ready to feel sexy and comfortable in outfits that truly represent you! Choose from playful bra and panty sets, cozy boy shorts paired with a comfy sweater, or daring garters and a bustier—whatever makes you feel fabulous! Remember to select lingerie and outfits that flatter your unique style and ensure a perfect fit. Once you book your shoot and pay your deposit, you'll receive an email with all the details on how to prepare some wardrobe inspiration! We will also discuss your goals for the session and integrate important outfits and props to enhance the result.

Q: CAN I DO HAIR AND MAKEUP BY MYSELF?

Experience professional makeup application that is included in every full-priced session where our talented makeup artist will customize your look to ensure you feel amazing. Additionally, you will receive hair styling to complete your look. If you prefer to do your own hair, please arrive with it fully styled before the shoot.

Q: CAN I BRING FRIENDS WITH ME TO MY SESSION?

Friends are welcome to come to the photo session. However, due to space and time constraints, they may be asked to remain in certain locations.

Q: IF I CANNOT MAKE MY SHOOT DATE, CAN I RESCHEDULE?

​Please note that we require a minimum of 14 days to reschedule a shoot. If you need to reschedule within 14 days of your scheduled date or if you've already rescheduled more than once, your retainer will not be transferable, and a rescheduling fee of $100 will apply. By signing your contract, we reserve those hours exclusively for you, which means we turn away other potential clients for that day and time. Thank you for understanding!

Q: WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

​Please note that due to the unique nature of photography, all session prices and any products ordered are non-refundable. You will have the final say for the retouching and any custom album designs, ensuring that nothing goes to print without your approval unless a short client timeline prevents reasonable review time between Platinum Boudoir and the client. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we want to create something special that meets your vision. Also, please be aware that it takes up to several weeks from the photo shoot date to receive the final printed products. Customers that have a very short timeline to shoot and receive the products may need to rely on the judgement of Platinum Boudoir and the album printer to ensure that the products are received on time. Short suspenses to have products made and shipped may incur a rush delivery fee.

Q: I AM READY TO BOOK A PHOTO SHOOT. WHAT IS NEXT?

​Thank you for choosing us! Please select your preferred package on the Pricing page, then head over to our Contact to provide your information. We will reach out within 24 hours to finalize your shoot details. A 50% deposit of your package price is required upon signing the contract.

Q: CAN I SPLIT UP THE PAYMENTS ON A PACKAGE?

Yes! 50% of the package price must be paid before the photoshoot begins. The balance of the package price and any additional products ordered must be paid before Platinum Boudoir places the order for photo products.

Q: IF I AM LATE, WILL I STILL GET MY FULL SHOOTING TIME?

​We kindly ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. Our schedule is carefully planned to accommodate multiple clients throughout the day, and being late can affect your shooting time as well as that of others. To ensure a smooth experience and that you receive the full benefit of your chosen package, please make every effort to be punctual.

Q: WHERE DO THE SHOOTS TAKE PLACE?

The photo sessions take place at Platinum Boudoir's studio in San Antonio. We also offer concierge photo sessions within the San Antonio/Austin region as an add-on fee for clients who wish to shoot someplace else.
